Egypt Day Tours

A well-organized day in Egypt covers more than most travelers expect. The major sites are close enough that a focused, private visit to one area reaches the things that matter.

Focused, Private, One Day

Day tours are built around specific sites rather than broad overviews. A day at Giza goes to the plateau first, then south to Saqqara and Memphis, returning by afternoon. A day in Luxor covers either the east bank (Karnak, Luxor Temple) or the west bank (Valley of the Kings, Hatshepsut Temple, Medinet Habu), not both without rushing. Islamic Cairo is a full day on its own: the Khan el-Khalili bazaar, the Mosque of Muhammad Ali, the Citadel, and Coptic Cairo. The Egyptian Museum needs a separate visit. The Aswan area covers Philae, the Unfinished Obelisk, and the High Dam. Abu Simbel, 300 kilometers south, is usually done as a day flight from Aswan. All tours are private. The pace follows yours.
