08 Days Pyramids and Nile cruise holidays

Upon landing at Cairo International Airport, our local team welcomes you and assists with arrival formalities. You’ll be transferred by private vehicle to your hotel. Settle in and enjoy the remainder of the day at your own pace, preparing for the days ahead.

Begin with a private guided tour to the legendary Pyramids of Giza, where you’ll see the ancient pyramids of Cheops, Chephren, and Mykerinos and meet the enigmatic Great Sphinx. Continue to Saqqara to explore the Step Pyramid of Djoser, the oldest stone pyramid in existence, and view tombs adorned with hieroglyphics. Lunch is served at a local restaurant before returning to your hotel.

After breakfast, transfer to Cairo Airport for your flight to Luxor. On arrival, start your exploration of the East Bank with a visit to Karnak Temple, an extraordinary complex of sanctuaries and obelisks, followed by the illuminated Luxor Temple. Later, board your Nile cruise and relax with dinner served onboard.

Today, cross to the West Bank of Luxor to walk through the Valley of the Kings, resting place of pharaohs such as Tutankhamun. Visit the impressive Hatshepsut Temple, built directly into limestone cliffs, and stop at the towering Colossi of Memnon. Return to your Nile cruise to begin sailing towards Edfu.

Travel by horse-drawn carriage to Edfu Temple, dedicated to Horus and celebrated for its remarkable preservation. Later, continue sailing to Kom Ombo to see the unusual dual temple devoted to Sobek and Horus the Elder. The cruise docks near Aswan for the night.

This morning, visit the picturesque Philae Temple, dedicated to the goddess Isis and set on an island. Afterwards, see the Aswan High Dam, one of Egypt’s most notable modern achievements. Return to the cruise for lunch and enjoy free time for the afternoon.

Start early with an excursion to Abu Simbel, where the monumental rock-cut temples of Ramses II rise from the Nubian sandstone. After your visit, you’ll be taken to Aswan Airport for your return flight to Cairo. Arrive and settle in for your final night in Egypt.
