10 Days Egypt and Jordan Tours with Nile Cruise

Your journey begins as you arrive in Cairo, where a representative welcomes you at the airport and helps with all arrival formalities. You'll have a private transfer to your hotel, time to check in, and a meeting with your tour manager to go over the coming days. Enjoy your evening settling into Cairo’s atmosphere.

After breakfast, set out to explore the Pyramids of Giza, including Khufu, Khafre, and Menkaure, and marvel at the Great Sphinx and the Valley Temple. Following lunch at a local restaurant, you'll visit the Grand Egyptian Museum, where antiquities and treasures from across Egypt are on display, including the famous collection from Tutankhamun’s tomb (except the golden mask, which remains at the Egyptian Museum in Tahrir). Return to your hotel for a restful evening.

Check out and transfer to the airport for your morning flight to Aswan. Upon arrival, your guide will escort you to the Adonis Nile Cruise, where you'll enjoy lunch on board. In Aswan, visit the impressive High Dam, take a motorboat to Philae Temple—known for its captivating setting—and see the Unfinished Obelisk, a testament to ancient stone-carving techniques. Return to your cruise for dinner and overnight.

Enjoy breakfast as the ship sails north. Stop at Kom Ombo to discover the temple uniquely devoted to both Sobek and Horus. Admire the symmetry, intricate medical reliefs, and riverside location. Continue sailing to Edfu and relax on deck, watching life unfold along the Nile.

Begin the day with a horse-drawn carriage ride to Edfu Temple, dedicated to Horus and recognized for its well-preserved architecture. Sail to Luxor, have lunch on board, and then explore the vast Karnak Temple Complex, followed by Luxor Temple, beautifully illuminated in the late afternoon. Return to your cruise for dinner and a night in Luxor.

Today, explore the ancient Roman city of Jerash, wandering its ancient streets, the Oval Plaza, and temples. Afterwards, travel to the Dead Sea, where you can relax, float in the salty water, and enjoy the peaceful setting before heading back to Amman.

Set out early for Petra. Walk through the Siq, a narrow gorge, and behold Al-Khazneh (the Treasury), then continue to explore tombs, temples, and amphitheaters carved from rose-colored cliffs. After a day of discovery, return to Amman.

After breakfast, transfer to Queen Alia International Airport, where your Egypt and Jordan adventure concludes.
