The Nile Dahabiya

Upon your arrival at Luxor Airport or railway station, our local representative welcomes you and arranges your private transfer to board The Nile Dahabiya. Settle in and enjoy lunch on deck before setting out for your first guided tour. You'll explore the expansive Karnak Temple complex, renowned for its massive columns and sacred spaces, followed by a visit to the beautifully illuminated Luxor Temple, centerpiece of ancient festivals. Afterward, return to the Dahabiya for dinner and a peaceful evening as the cruise begins.

Enjoy breakfast before crossing to Luxor’s West Bank. Here you’ll discover the Valley of the Kings, final resting place of legendary pharaohs, then take in the dramatic cliffside architecture of Hatshepsut Temple. Pause at the Colossi of Memnon before returning to the Dahabiya. As the afternoon unfolds, the boat departs Luxor, passing through the Esna Lock and heading toward Edfu.

Begin the day visiting Edfu Temple, dedicated to the falcon god Horus, reached by traditional carriage. Sail onward to Ramady Island, a quiet spot where you have the chance to meet villagers and enjoy a glimpse into rural life along the Nile. Unwind on board as the scenery drifts by.

The Dahabiya continues to Gebel el-Silsila, famed for its ancient sandstone quarries and the riverside Temple of Horemheb. Next, visit Kom Ombo Temple, uniquely shared by two gods, before stopping at Herdiab Beach, where you can swim or relax on the tranquil sandbank.

After breakfast, disembark in Aswan. A final guided tour takes you to the enchanting Philae Temple, set on an island and surrounded by the Nile’s blue waters. Your Dahabiya cruise concludes with memories of Egypt’s timeless riverbanks.
