Elephantine Dahabiya

Your adventure begins at 14:00 when you board the Elephantine Dahabiya in Luxor. The crew welcomes you and helps you settle into your suite before a relaxed lunch sets the tone. In the afternoon, explore Karnak Temple, the vast ancient sanctuary, followed by an evening visit to the illuminated Luxor Temple along the riverbank. Return to the Dahabiya for a tranquil night with the Nile breeze and starlit sky.

Begin your day with breakfast before heading to the Valley of the Kings, burial site of Egypt’s rulers. Next, marvel at Hatshepsut Temple, carved into the cliffs, and pause for photos at the Colossi of Memnon. Around midday, sail south through the Esna Lock toward the peaceful island of El Hegz, watching the river’s scenery drift by as the day closes.

Start with a stroll in El Hegz village for a glimpse of local life. Your trip continues to Edfu, where a horse-drawn carriage takes you to the impressive Temple of Horus. After lunch on board, the Dahabiya sails to Kom Ombo to visit its unique riverside temple dedicated to Sobek and Haroeris, as well as the Crocodile Museum. The day ends anchored at Kobaniya village.

After breakfast, tour the enchanting Philae Temple, reached by boat, and visit the Aswan High Dam for a look at Egypt’s modern achievements. Lunch is followed by a visit to the bustling Aswan Spice Market. Your evening concludes with a special Nubian-themed dinner and music aboard the Dahabiya.
