Private Pyramid Tours Egypt from Saqqara's First Pyramid to Giza 2026/2027

A 4-day private pyramid tours Egypt route from one Giza hotel, with Memphis, Saqqara and Dahshur on one day and the Great Pyramid, Sphinx and GEM on the next.

Why Private Pyramid Tours Egypt Should Start at Saqqara

A single morning at Giza shows you the ending of a story without its beginning. This route starts at Saqqara and Dahshur, where Egypt's builders tested the first stone pyramids and corrected their mistakes, so the Great Pyramid arrives on your third day with its full context already in place.

Your base stays in one Giza hotel for all three nights, which means no repacking and short drives each morning. If you only have one free day, the single-day pyramids and Saqqara route covers the highlights, and our other Giza programs show different ways to see the plateau.

Why Seeing the Older Pyramids First Changes Giza

Four reasons a slower, site-by-site approach pays off once you finally reach the Giza Plateau.

See the Pyramids in the Order They Were Built

Saqqara's Step Pyramid and Dahshur's Bent and Red Pyramids come first. That way your private tour of Giza pyramids on day three reads as the finished result of everything you saw the day before.

A Licensed Guide Who Explains Every Site

An English-speaking licensed Egyptologist stays with you at each site and explains why every pyramid was built the way it was.

Someone Waiting for You When You Land

A representative meets you at Cairo International Airport and rides with you to your Giza hotel, so arrival day asks nothing of you.

Time Inside the Great Pyramid and the GEM

Entry to the Great Pyramid's interior and to the Grand Egyptian Museum is included. Most half-day pyramids private tour options leave both out.

What Two Full Days at the Pyramid Fields Ask of You

Expect two full sightseeing days on foot, mostly over sand and uneven stone. Saqqara and Dahshur sit roughly forty minutes' drive south of your hotel. Inside the Great Pyramid, a steep and low passage climbs up to the King's Chamber.

This trip suits first-time visitors who want the pyramids explained properly instead of rushed. It suits travelers who dislike heat or tight spaces far less. If you want earlier site access and tighter timing, our Egypt VIP tours fit better.

The rhythm stays calm on purpose. You land, sleep and wake close to the plateau. Each touring day has one clear focus and a lunch break, and evenings stay quiet at the hotel, so nothing blurs together by departure day.

  • Airport reception and assistance on arrival and departure.

Important Information

A private tour Cairo pyramids trip usually goes wrong on small details, so these four cover arrival, fitness, cancellation and season.

Meeting Point

A representative meets you in the arrivals area of Cairo International Airport, holding a sign with your name. On both touring days, your guide collects you from your Giza hotel lobby after breakfast and brings you back there at the end of the day.

Age & Physical Requirements

Children of any age can join when traveling with an adult. You need moderate fitness for walking on sand. The Great Pyramid passage is steep, low and humid, so it is not advised if you have heart, back or breathing problems, or claustrophobia.

Cancellation Policy

60 days or more before departure, refund less any non-refundable costs disclosed in advance.
30 to 59 days, 25% of the total booking price.
15 to 29 days, 50% of the total booking price.
Under 15 days, up to 100% of the total booking price.
No-show, no refund for missed services.

Best Time to Visit

October to April is the most comfortable window, with mild days and cool mornings on the plateau. December and January bring the biggest crowds at Giza. From June to August, midday heat is intense, so the touring days start as early as the sites allow.

What to Bring

Packed for sand, strong sun, a steep pyramid passage and two long days on foot.

  • Light long-sleeved shirts.

  • Loose trousers or a long skirt.

What to Know Before Choosing This Four-Day Pyramid Route

Four answers on privacy, the pyramid interior, pacing and Sphinx access, so you can judge fit before you write.

Is This a Private Tour of Pyramids Only, or Shared with Others?

It is fully private. Only your group rides in the car and walks with the guide. Compared with a one-day private tour pyramids Cairo itinerary, you also get two touring days instead of one crowded one.

Can We Go Inside the Great Pyramid?

Yes. The interior ticket is included. The passage to the King's Chamber is steep, narrow and warm, so your guide explains the chamber beforehand, and you can skip the climb if it does not suit you.

Why Are Giza and Saqqara on Separate Days?

Each site needs several hours, and the drive between them adds more. Many visitors book a private tour Giza pyramids and Sphinx as one morning, but separate days give both sites time without rushing either.

Can We Add Access to the Sphinx Enclosure?

Yes, on request. Standing between the paws requires a special permit, so availability and the extra cost are confirmed only once your dates are known. Mention it when you first get in touch.

Plan Your Pyramid Days Around Your Arrival

Send your dates, and we reply with hotel availability and a confirmed price for your group.

Do Four Days at the Pyramids Fit Your Trip?

Share your arrival date, group size and whether you want Sphinx enclosure access. We check hotel space and permits, then send a clear Giza pyramids private tour quote that you can confirm or adjust.
