Oasis Tours Egypt Across Bahariya, the White Desert & Siwa 2026/2027

Nine days in the Western Desert, with two nights camping from the Black Desert to the White Desert, one night in Cairo, then three nights in Siwa.

Group Size: 8

Why These Oasis Tours Egypt Return to Cairo Before Siwa

Most oasis tours egypt operators drive you straight from Siwa to Bahariya on a long desert road, which turns two oases into one blur. This route returns you to Cairo between them, so the White Desert camp and Siwa's salt lakes each start with rested legs and clear eyes.

That Cairo night is the hinge of the trip. You come off two nights of camping, sleep in a real bed, then set out for Siwa the next morning. If one oasis is enough, the 3-day desert program or the 4-day Siwa oasis tour each work well alone.

Why Nine Days Give Each Oasis Its Own Rhythm

Four reasons this route feels different from the faster egypt oasis tours sold out of Cairo.

Two Desert Nights Instead of One Rushed Sunset

The second camp night opens Agabat Valley, the Krawen dunes and the Magic Spring before you reach the White Desert. Nothing gets cut to beat the dark.

A Cairo Night That Keeps Both Oases Fresh

Returning to Cairo after camp means you leave for Siwa showered and slept. The road west starts from a hotel bed, not a tent.

Someone Who Knows Every Track and Tomb

An English-speaking licensed guide leads your Siwa days, and a local Bedouin guide drives the 4x4 and cooks at camp.

Met at Arrivals, Rested Before the Desert

A representative meets you inside Cairo airport and brings you to your hotel. The first long drive waits until after a full night of sleep.

What These Oasis Tours Egypt Ask of Your Body

Expect long road days. Cairo to Bahariya takes about four hours, and Cairo to Siwa takes about nine with a lunch stop. Desert nights turn cold between November and February, and the camp has sleeping bags, blankets and Bedouin mattresses.

This route suits you if you have already seen the Nile sites, or prefer open land to temples. It suits less well if you need daily comfort, dislike swimming in natural springs, or cannot sit in a vehicle for hours.

The rhythm swings between movement and stillness. Days in the 4x4 end in silence at camp, Cairo resets you, and Siwa slows everything again. Read our guide to the oasis beyond the White Desert if you want more context first.

What's Included
  • Airport reception and assistance in Cairo on arrival and departure.

  • Private air-conditioned transfers on every road day of the trip.

  • Three nights in a Cairo hotel with daily breakfast.

  • Two nights of desert camping with tent and full bedding.

  • Three nights in a Siwa hotel with all meals included.

  • All desert meals, with hot drinks and mineral water throughout.

  • A 4x4 vehicle and local Bedouin guide for the desert days.

  • An English-speaking licensed guide for your Siwa sightseeing.

  • Entrance fees for every site listed in the itinerary.

What's Not Included
  • Egypt entry visa, where it applies to your passport.

  • Lunch and dinner on the days you spend in Cairo.

  • The 4x4 dune trip in Siwa on Day 6 (OPTIONAL).

  • Tips and gratuities, left entirely to your choice.

  • Personal expenses and travel insurance.

Important Information

These details matter more on oasis egypt tours, where camps, long roads and remote hotels leave little room for surprises.

Meeting Point

A representative meets you in the arrivals hall of Cairo International Airport. On Day 2 and Day 5, your private car collects you from your Cairo hotel after breakfast. Siwa sightseeing starts from your Siwa hotel each morning.

Age & Physical Requirements

Children travel with an adult, and you should share their ages when you enquire, since the drives are long. You need moderate fitness for short sand walks and dune climbs. Spring and lake swims are always your choice.

Cancellation Policy

60+ days: refund less non-recoverable costs
30 to 59 days: 25% charge
15 to 29 days: 50% charge
Under 15 days: up to 100%

Best Time to Visit

October to April works best, with warm days and clear starry nights. December and January bring cold desert nights, so pack warm layers. June to August brings intense heat, which makes the long drives and open sand much harder.

Packed for two cold camp nights, hot sunny days, spring swims and long hours in a vehicle.

What to Bring With You

Merci Mahmoud !

Questions That Decide Whether Two Desert Oases Suit You

Route logic, meals, the optional dune trip and trip length, the four points travelers ask about before booking.

Why Do You Return to Cairo Before Going to Siwa?

A night in Cairo keeps both oases rested. You leave camp, sleep in a hotel, and start the road to Siwa fresh instead of crossing straight from the White Desert on a long, tiring desert route.

Is the 4x4 Dune Trip in Siwa Included?

No. The Day 6 dune trip is an optional oasis egypt safari at extra cost, with a hot spring, a cold lake, sandboarding and a campfire sunset. Taghaghein Island at sunset is included instead.

Are All Meals Included on This Trip?

No. Every meal in the desert and in Siwa is included, along with lunch on both Siwa road days. Cairo nights include breakfast only, so dinner in Cairo is on your own.

Is Nine Days Enough for Bahariya and Siwa?

Yes. Shorter oasis tours egypt routes squeeze both into five or six days by driving direct between them. An egypt oasis tour of nine days keeps the second camp night and the Cairo rest stop.
